MDC Showcases Smart Kitchen Innovations at Macau Industry Expo

MDC was honored to participate in the Macau Hospitality Industry Smart Upgrade Solutions Exhibition, capturing the attention of key leaders from the Macau Special Administrative Region.

To accelerate the transformation and upgrading of Macau’s hospitality industry, the Economic and Technological Development Bureau, in collaboration with the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, hosted the “Macau Hospitality Industry Smart Upgrade Solutions Exhibition” on April 29 at the Macau Tower. The event, themed “Enhancing Efficiency, Expanding Opportunities,” showcased the latest smart technologies, offering innovative operational and management experiences for Macau’s hospitality sector. 

The exhibition was graced by prominent figures, including Ho Iat Seng, Chief Executive of the Macau SAR, Lei Wai Nong, Secretary for Economy and Finance, Dai Jianye, Director of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau, Kwan Chi Ping, President of the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, and Chan Chak Mo, President of the United Association of Macau Catering.

A total of 19 exhibitors from Macau, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, and Dongguan attended the event, attracting over 1,300 industry representatives. MDC was invited by the local government as the only comprehensive commercial kitchen equipment brand, showcasing 16 smart kitchen devices, including commercial dishwashers, noodle makers, food preparation equipment, and stir fry cooking machines.

At the exhibition, MDC’s B2B Sales Director, Ye Xiaodong, warmly welcomed distinguished guests, including Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng and Secretary Lei Wai Nong. Ye provided an in-depth introduction to MDC’s unique advantages in smart kitchen equipment, highlighting the company’s strong momentum in the commercial kitchen industry. The discussions led to high praise from the attending leaders for the MDC brand.

The MDC exhibition booth was a focal point of interest, drawing large crowds and creating a vibrant atmosphere. Many industry professionals stopped by to engage, exchange ideas, and experience firsthand how smart technology is revolutionizing the hospitality industry. The showcased equipment received widespread recognition from attendees.

During the event, MDC staff demonstrated the practical applications of their equipment by preparing food on-site, allowing guests and industry representatives to directly experience the capabilities of the smart devices. Additionally, MDC facilitated business matchmaking sessions to promote collaboration and upgrade opportunities within the Greater Bay Area’s hospitality sector.

The exhibition also featured knowledge-sharing sessions by experts from the Greater Bay Area, discussing the latest trends and technological applications in the hospitality industry. MDC Brand General Manager Deng Renfeng delivered an in-depth presentation on “Smart Restaurant Solutions and MDC Brand Introduction,” which garnered significant attention and enthusiastic responses from attending restaurateurs.

Following the exhibition, MDC Brand General Manager Deng Renfeng was interviewed by Macau Radio and Television.

Deng emphasized that MDC’s smart kitchen equipment can address key challenges facing Macau’s local hospitality industry, such as limited space, high rent, and rising labor costs. He affirmed the company’s commitment to embracing the economic growth opportunities brought by Macau’s tourism and gaming industries, offering diversified smart kitchen solutions to the hospitality sector. MDC aims to drive the industry’s transformation towards greater intelligence, standardization, and digitalization, ultimately reducing costs, improving service quality, and enhancing the customer experience.
